Do you have a complaint about your midwife?
It is important that you feel confident with your midwife because pregnancy can be a stressful time. This is why we endeavour to do our best to help you and your baby. Our aim is to ensure contact with your midwives and other specialists in the practice is both professional and pleasant. However, we are also aware that you may have a complaint.
1. Talk to your midwife about your complaint
Do you have questions? Or doubts? Are you not happy about something? Tell us. We will take the time to talk to you about it.
2. Contact our complaints officer
If a meeting to discuss the complaint is not possible, or if the meeting does not solve the problem, or you need help to submit a complaint – contact our CBKZ (Centraal Bureau Klachtenmanagement in de Zorg) complaints officer. He or she is impartial, works independently and can advise and support you. The complaints officer will also help by acting as a mediator and where possible finding a mutual solution. Everything you discuss with the complaints officer is confidential.
The CBKZ external complaints officer is available Monday to Friday (from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 16.30) via 088 – 0245123. You can also send an email to klachtverloskunde@cbkz.nl
