Aidulac

Praktijk voor coaching en begeleiding bij borstvoeding

In Verloskundig Centrum DelVi we work closely with Annette Luime from Aidulac.
Are you pregnant and want more information about breastfeeding? Have you just had a baby and need help with breastfeeding? Maybe you are uncertain or perhaps you want to combine breastfeeding with going back to work.
Good preparation for breastfeeding is best done in pregnancy by attending the information evening . Here you will learn how to start breastfeeding and receive lots of practical information for the week after the birth. You will learn what is important for breastfeeding and what you need to look out for. With this knowledge you establish a good basis and be able to indentify and prevent problems yourself.
Annette can tell you everything you need to know about breastfeeding. She will help you on your way if you experience problems and will come to your home for a consultation to support you if needed.

Annette is a certified lactation consultant and works on a haptonomic basis. Haptonomy is about your experience and makes you aware of your feelings. It's about connection, listening, boundaries, healing and affirming. By reflecting on the contact between you and your child and deepening the contact, you create a warm and safe basis for later.

Tailored care for pregnancy

Congratulations, you are pregnant. It goes without saying that you want the best care for you and your baby. It is therefore good to know that the nine regional midwifery practices, gynaecologists, midwives, paediatricians and neonatologists from the Reinier de Graaf hospital have developed an integrated care model that means they are working together more intensively. It is almost always possible to have your baby at home or in the hospital This care model is called the Reinova Geboortegroep and helps to improve the quality and safety of care in the Delft area.

Tailored care

You will have your first appointment with your midwife in a midwifery practice. However, if you have a clotting deficiency or you have had an ectopic pregnancy or multiple miscarriages in the past, then your first appointment will (possibly) be at the Reinier de graaf hospital.

As a pregnant woman in Delft it is also nice to know that the kraamzorg bureaus, JGZ (child health team) and the gynaecologists, midwives, paediatricians and neonatologists from the Reinier de Graaf hospital are working closely together via the VSV Reinier (Verloskundig Samenwerkings Verband). There is regular contact between all of these specialists in order to optimise the care for you. We as midwives discuss your pregnancy (with consent) in a meeting with the gynaecologists and the midwives from the hospital (Multidisciplinary meeting). If necessary, a paediatrician or neonatologist, kraamzorg and/or the baby clinic from the JGZ will be consulted. During this meeting a risk analysis will be made. Based on the we will decide which care path suits your needs best, tailored care. This care path contains the information about what care you will receive and where. With the midwife where possible, with the gynaecologist if necessary.

Registration

If you are not yet a patient at the Reinier de Graaf, the you can register yourself as quickly as possible to make sure you have a patient number. This can be done at the registration desk of every location of the Reinier de Graaf hospital in Delft, Voorburg, Naaldwijk or Ypenburg. Without your patient number we are not able to discuss your pregnancy with the gynaecologist.

Consent
In order to provide the best possible care during our pregnancy, birth and postpartum, it may be necessary to share your medical details with other care givers in the Reinier Geboortegroep. We as you therefore to sign a consent form to allow us to do this.

Family centred care

Should you choose not to have your baby at home or due to circumstances it becomes necessary to give birth in the hospital, then you can make use of the Midwifery/Postnatal department of the Mother and Baby Centre in the Reinier de Graaf hospital. You will stay here together with your partner in a birthing suite and can have your baby in the way that you choose. All care given in the Mother and Baby Centre centres around the family. After the birth you will stay in the birthing suite or postnatal suite with your baby and partner. If your baby needs extra care then you will move together to the Neonatal department of the Mother and Baby Centre. Here we also offer family centred care. Kraamzorg is also a part of this care. Whether you stay on the Midwifery/Postnatal unit or the Neonatology unit, our care professionals will coach you and your partner in the care for your baby so that you can go home together with confidence.
